Senior Backend PHP Developer
We are looking to add a PHP backend developer to our team. We are a team, and we are looking for someone who is easy going, dedicated to work, has a team-player personality and loves a good challenge, yet does not mind grinding through someone else's code in order to improve the overall system.

This is a work-from-home job (however, your schedule will be based New York 09:00 to 17:00 work schedule)

What we are looking for
- Expert knowledge of PHP5, OOP, MySQL-databases and data modeling
- Knowledge about webservices (REST/SOAP)
- Experience with various PHP frameworks
- Experience with jQuery and Bootstrap
- Ability to write high-performance and reusable PHP code-modules
- Passion for performance debugging and benchmarking
- Experience configuring and maintaining your own LAMP environment
- Must be comfortable with various Distributions of Linux (OpenSuse, Debian and Ubuntu)
- Experience using Git version control
- VoIP Experience (Asterisk, FREESwitch) is a plus
- Most importantly, we are looking for an easy going, self-motivating team player personality
What you'll do
- Work with team of developers to provide and implement solutions based on project needs
- Build efficient and reusable PHP code
- Identify and address performance issues
- Participate in design and code reviews
- Identify and prototype best practices for backend engineering
- Follow our coding standards and established development processes
- Pay attention and be up to date on your Trello board cards
